SNOOKER ONE
The "Number One" Snooker Group was formed in 1998.
There were twenty members, some with experience and others new to snooker.
The group was allocated all five tables available at the Nike centre twice monthly. To this day we continue this pattern. In all this time there have only been two changes of members, due to them leaving to pursue other activities.
We've recently celebrated ten years as a group and at our annual Xmas lunch which is attended by members and partners we were presented with a magnificent anniversary cake by George Black, General manager of Nike centre.
The group looks forward to many more years of successful snooker.
