Events
Other than normal Group meetings, there are currently no additional events scheduled for this Group

We meet on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 10am until about 12pm. We are up to ten members with, typically, between six and eight at each meeting. We meet in members' houses.
Each person is given the opportunity to speak in French for 2 to 10 minutes. Favourite subjects are newspaper stories, local events and issues, holidays, days out. Talks are best not too long; the most successful ones are those that trigger further conversation making the meeting relaxed, lively and fun.
We are not a teaching group and don't expect total fluency in French. A few members are fluent or near fluent and are able to help and correct other members. We have no hard and fast rules on the standard of French but expect a moderate knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
