This group continues to go from strength to strength. We now number around 35, but we still need more tenors and basses, please. We meet the second and fourth Thursdays of each month (except July and August) at 2 pm at Emmbrook Village Hall with some parking behind the hall and on the roadside. The entry payment covers hall rental, sheet music and refreshments.
Elaine Poole, a retired music teacher and pianist, guides us through a wide selection of musical challenges - folk and golden oldies, songs from the shows, rounds and negro spirituals to name but a few. Until recently, Elaine was assisted by talented pianist Lorna White. Lorna has had to retire from the group – we miss her and thank her for her contribution over the years. However, we have been pleased to welcome Ros Slocombe, to lead us through her own selection of songs with guitar accompaniment.
Don't worry if you haven't sung for years - you'll soon catch on. And it's all good fun!
