Social Tennis Thursday afternoons is currently open for new members.
Venue: Cantley Park tennis courts for 1 hr 30 mins, usually. Generally use 3 or 4 courts, depending on numbers, mainly doubles play.
This is a light hearted social tennis group, the emphasis is on outdoor exercise and enjoyment, not competitive.
We do not play if it is raining, snowing, it's too hot (!) or the courts are damp/slippery. Otherwise, we meet all year round. Please be aware these are outside hard courts & care is needed to avoid trips and falls. Members expected to make their personal assessment of suitability in their personal circumstances.
Pay when you play, £1 if member of the Cantley Park tennis club (contribution for the balls).
If not a GD club member, the charge will be £4 per session July 2026 onwards, to cover the cost of paid for tennis court.
Members encouraged to join GD Cantley tennis club £72pa annual family membership for unlimited off peak play as cheaper option.
