Events
Other than normal Group meetings, there are currently no additional events scheduled for this Group

The group's objectives are to walk once a month with like-minded friends. It was established in 2015 and meets monthly at around 10.15am/10.30am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. The leadership for each walk is rotated among the members. Walks maintain a relaxed pace and are usually between 4 and 5 miles using local footpaths, bridleways and country roads, finishing with a lunch (optional). Local history is often part of the walk, together with visiting local landmarks and viewpoints. A newsletter is distributed to members each month providing a report of the previous month’s walk, details of the next walk and diary for future walks.
