The Wine Appreciation Group (Group 1) was formed in 2007 by a few members who were interested in wine and wanted to learn more about it. We meet each month to taste, discuss and learn about wine. Our first meeting was in June 2007.
We meet in members homes and take turns to research a wine topic and organise a wine tasting for the other members based on that research.
We try to be responsible and keep our activities to tasting rather than just drinking wine. At present we have to restrict numbers because our meetings are in a home setting, and the group is currently full.
We now have a vacancy for two new members. These must be local and have the capability and willingness to host tastings when it their turn.
